Ironmongers Millennium Vase

Silver, silver gilt, and enamel with 22ct gold cloissons. This vase won the Jacques Cartier Memorial Award at the Goldsmiths’ Craft Council Awards 2001.

The base of the vase comprises three salamanders holding up a flaming crucible. The flames, which represent the sun and its life giving forces, flow into the enamelled design. Sparks from the flames extend up and become stars in the night sky.

Night and day represent the cyclical nature of time and this is further strengthened by four floral panels representing the four seasons. Height 390mm

Fuchsia beaker

Applied fuchsias in the form of fine silver sheet are applied to the beaker and then enamelled. 18ct gold wires are applied for the stems, and their high polish contrasts beautifully with a matt silver background. Silver, silver gilt, 18ct & 22 ct gold, and enamel. Height 9.5cm.

Four Seasons Vases

A set of four vases in silver, silver gilt, 22ct gold and enamel with an horticultural depiction of the four seasons. Not only has Fred chosen some of his favourite seasonal plants, but colour pallets have been carefully thought out to produce a coherent set. Height of each vase: 370mm.

Seahorse Pendant Brooch

Diamonds and aquamarines form bubbles in the water around a beautiful seahorse entwined in seaweed. The diamond set loop clicks back out of view when worn as a brooch. A diamond set enamelled catch and heavy 18ct gold chain complete this wonderful piece. 18ct gold, diamond, aquamarines, and enamel with 22ct gold cloissons.
